A friend from England is coming to California for a three-week visit, and I'm providing map and guide services via internet. The only available space in Yosemite was in the tents at Camp Curry, and the friend has made several comments about sleeping with the bears.
So I sent him the video, posted here yesterday, about the bears fishing at Brooks Falls in Alaska.
He replied and said he was no longer quite so concerned, since he'd been studying up on how to deal with bears in the wild. He sent along this video to give me an idea of his technique.
