I wouldn't want to get optimistic or anything, especially about anything having to do with American politics or public opinion, but this article by Glenn Greenwald—certainly no more of an optimist than me—actually sounds vaguely positive.
Could it be that Americans are finally paying attention, to anything?
I guess we'll see in the coming weeks and months.
