I think the Travyon Martin / George Zimmerman affair illustrates very clearly all the advantages that America and Americans gain by being the most well-armed citizens in the world. As the NRA, all Libertarians, most Republicans and many Democrats would have you believe, most social problems are easily solved by citizens having guns.
