There's an argument one hears frequently that (a) deplores the left/right political divisions in our country, which I believe is fine thing to deplore, and (b) says that the problem is that the extremists on both sides of the left/right division are responsible.
I think that is a stupid argument that is not the least bit supported by the facts and the situation. I'll probably come back to this topic in future entries here.
But for now my question is: who/where are the leftist equivalents of the right wing nut cases described in this article?
